Question 1

What does TradeWake monitor for compliance?

Accepted Answer

TradeWake watches public FMCSA and state DOT sources, IFTA jurisdictions, UCR registries, inspection records, and the FMCSA drug-and-alcohol consortium list for renewal and readiness signals. It flags items that need attention, but the owner still supplies internal records such as CDL copies, drug-test results, and company-specific documents. See the compliance coverage before you decide what belongs in your workflow.

Question 2

How does public bid discovery avoid sending us a firehose?

Accepted Answer

TradeWake starts with public procurement postings, then filters them by your trades, service radius, capacity, bonding envelope, and due date. The result is a review queue of plausible opportunities rather than every posting it can find. Your team still decides whether the work fits the business and whether to pursue it.

Question 3

Can it coordinate crews, subcontractors, trucks, and equipment?

Accepted Answer

TradeWake brings crews, subcontractors, trucks, excavators, and rental equipment into one operating view so conflicts surface earlier. It can organize the handoffs and highlight a double-booked resource, but the owner or dispatcher retains the final decision about people, equipment, customers, and changes to the plan.

Question 4

What goes into a daily margin report?

Accepted Answer

Time entries, material pulls, fuel and haul costs, and load-ticket inputs are rolled against the job’s bid budget to give the office a current daily margin view. It is an operating signal, not a promise that every field entry is perfect: the owner or office team reviews the inputs and resolves gaps before relying on the number for a decision.

Question 5

Who owns our operational data, and who can see it?

Accepted Answer

The operational records your team provides are for your authenticated TradeWake workspace; TradeWake does not turn your internal records into a public directory. Public-source bid and compliance information remains public-source information. Access and retention details depend on the configured account workflow, so confirm the specifics for your operation with the TradeWake team before onboarding rather than relying on a blanket claim.

Question 6

What does the AI draft, and what must the owner review?

Accepted Answer

The AI can sort opportunities, surface missing readiness items, organize scheduling inputs, and draft operational work for review. It cannot autonomously approve a bid, change a schedule, make a compliance decision, or send a customer-facing result. The owner or designated operator must review and approve those outputs before they are acted on.
